Beyond Classroom

Beyond Classroom

Opportunities That Build Confidence and Belonging

At Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba, life beyond the classroom helps students discover interests, build friendships and grow in confidence.

Extra-Curricular Activities

A rich school experience helps young people develop independence, character and a sense of belonging.

Through sport, creative arts, performance, leadership, trips, enrichment and community activities, students are encouraged to participate, contribute and explore new possibilities.

Our co-curricular programme supports personal growth and gives students opportunities to develop skills that complement their academic learning.

Leadership, Character and Belonging

Life beyond the classroom plays an important role in developing confidence, character and a sense of belonging.

Through sport, expressive arts, leadership opportunities, trips, enrichment and community experiences, students are encouraged to participate, contribute and discover new strengths. These opportunities help students develop resilience, teamwork, responsibility and pride in being part of the Kings’ community.

Expressive Arts

The arts give students opportunities to explore creativity, expression and performance.

Through art, music, drama and creative projects, students build confidence and develop their own voice. These experiences encourage imagination, collaboration and self-expression.

Sport and Physical Development

Sport encourages teamwork, resilience, discipline and confidence.

Students are supported to take part in a range of physical activities that promote wellbeing, participation and personal development.

Whether through recreational activities, school teams or friendly competition, students are encouraged to build healthy habits and a positive attitude towards physical activity.

Trips and Enrichment

Educational visits and enrichment experiences help students connect learning to the wider world.

Trips are designed to support curriculum understanding, build independence and create memorable learning experiences. They help students grow in confidence while developing a broader understanding of the world around them.

Kings’ House System

Our House system is an important part of student life at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba.

Every student belongs to one of four Houses, creating a strong sense of identity, belonging and community across the school. Through academic, sporting, creative and cultural activities, students work together, compete with spirit and contribute to the life of their House.

The House system encourages leadership, teamwork and mentoring across year groups, helping students build confidence, responsibility and lasting connections.

Holiday Camps

Our campus hosts a programme of holiday camps designed to keep children active, engaged and inspired during school breaks.

Delivered in partnership with trusted providers, the camps offer a safe and enriching environment where children can enjoy sport, adventure, creative activities, STEM experiences and social development.

Holiday camps extend the Kings’ experience beyond term time, supporting curiosity, confidence and teamwork in a fun and purposeful setting.
