Admissions now open for the academic year 2025-2026

Foundation Stage | Primary | Secondary | Sixth Form

We are delighted that you are considering Kings’ School Al Barsha for your child. Our admissions team is here to guide you through every stage of the process, from your initial enquiry to joining our school community.

Begin Your Kings’ Journey

We welcome applications throughout the year. As demand for places is high, families are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Our admissions team will be happy to advise on year group availability, entry requirements and the next steps for your child.

Where places are not immediately available, families may be offered a place on the waiting list or guided towards future entry opportunities.

If the year group you want to apply for is not available at our campus, you may choose to apply at our group schools Kings’ School Al Barsha and Kings’ School Dubai.

How to Apply

Step 1: Make an Enquiry

Complete the online enquiry form and share key details about your child, including their age, current school and preferred year of entry.

A member of our admissions team will contact you to discuss availability, answer your questions and guide you through the application process.

You will be invited to complete the registration process, upload the required documents and pay the application fee through the parent portal.

Depending on availability and year group, your child may be invited for an assessment. Successful applicants will receive a formal offer, along with guidance on securing their place.

Book a Tour

The best way to experience Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is to visit.

A school tour gives families the opportunity to explore our campus, meet members of our team and understand how our learning environment supports children at every stage.

For families unable to visit in person, our virtual tour offers a closer look at the facilities, classrooms and learning environments that make Kings’ School Al Barsha distinctive.

Age Cut Off

Year group placement is determined by your child’s date of birth and the KHDA-approved age cut-off dates.

Our admissions team will help you identify the appropriate year group for your child and guide you through any documentation required for entry.

Age-appropriate assessments are carried out to assess suitability for a challenging curriculum and ability to integrate with existing cohorts.

  • Each applicant must have the necessary academic qualifications, fulfil the Schools’ admissions criteria and pass the Schools’ assessment process

  • Years 1-2, one to one teacher led assessments are conducted
  • Years 3-10: computer based Cognitive Ability Test (CAT) and a written task. Each online test is appropriate to the age of the child and will take approximately two hours.
  • Years 10-13 considered in line with the constraints of the GCSE and A level courses and examinations schedules.
