Arabic Language
Arabic language learning is an important part of school life. Students are supported to build confidence in communication, reading, writing and understanding, with learning designed to be engaging, age-appropriate and relevant.
For Arabic-speaking students, the focus is on strengthening fluency, accuracy and appreciation for the richness of the language. For non-native speakers, learning supports confidence, vocabulary and practical communication.
Islamic Studies
Islamic Studies supports students in developing knowledge, values and understanding in a respectful and thoughtful environment.
Learning encourages reflection, moral awareness and appreciation of Islamic principles, helping students connect faith with character, responsibility and daily life.
UAE Culture & Heritage
Students are encouraged to develop a strong appreciation for the culture, traditions and heritage of the UAE.
Through curriculum links, assemblies, celebrations, community experiences and cultural learning, students deepen their understanding of the country they call home and the values that shape its society.
Prayer, Reflection and Daily Routine
Faith and reflection are respected as part of daily school life at KSNAS.
Our dedicated prayer rooms provide calm and respectful spaces for worship and reflection. Students are welcome to begin their day with morning prayer at school, supporting a sense of routine, belonging and connection to their faith.
Moral, Social and Cultural Understanding
At KSNAS, cultural learning is closely connected to character development.
Students are encouraged to show respect, kindness, responsibility and empathy, developing the confidence to contribute positively to their families, school and wider community.

Arabic Academy
Arabic Academy is an optional after-school programme open to students from Year 1 onwards. The programme deepens students’ understanding of Arabic language, culture and heritage through Arabic language sessions, Islamic Studies and creative exploration of art and culture.
Through the Arabic Academy, students build confidence, cultural appreciation and a stronger connection to the UAE and the wider Arabic-speaking world. The programme is built around three core strands. Arabic Language sessions support both native and non-native speakers, offering engaging masterclasses that develop confidence and fluency beyond the classroom. Islamic Studies provides additional opportunities for students to explore faith and values, often through cross-curricular links with art and culture. Art and Culture allow students to engage creatively with the rich traditions of the region, including calligraphy, photography, pottery, textiles and craft. Through the Arabic Academy, students develop language skills, cultural appreciation and creative expression, strengthening their connection to the UAE and the wider Arabic world.
