Our Nursery welcomes children aged 2 to 4 into a warm, nurturing and engaging environment where they can feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
As the beginning of the Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba journey, Nursery provides the first foundations for confidence, communication, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

The earliest years of a child’s education are deeply important. At Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba, our Nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, communicate, play and grow with confidence.
We understand that every child develops at their own pace. Our teachers create carefully planned experiences that support social, emotional, physical, language and early cognitive development, while ensuring children feel happy, secure and understood.

Future Foundations
Nursery at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba lays the foundations for future learning within the Kings’ family. Children are supported to build confidence, curiosity and independence through warm relationships, purposeful play and carefully guided discovery. Every experience is designed to help children feel secure, develop communication skills and begin to understand themselves as capable learners.
This early foundation helps children transition into FS1 with familiarity, confidence and a strong sense of belonging.
Learning Through Play and Discovery
Young children learn best through meaningful play, exploration and relationships.
Our Nursery environment encourages curiosity, communication, independence and early problem-solving through activities that are engaging, purposeful and developmentally appropriate.
Children are supported to ask questions, make choices, build friendships and develop confidence in themselves and the world around them.
Language, Confidence and Independence
Language development is central to early learning. Through stories, songs, conversation, imaginative play and carefully guided activities, children build communication skills and confidence. They are encouraged to express themselves, listen to others and develop independence in everyday routines.
For our community, language and identity are especially important. Children are supported within an environment that values English, Arabic, culture and belonging.
Care, Wellbeing and Independence
A happy child is ready to learn. Our Nursery places great emphasis on emotional security, positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Teachers work closely with each child to understand their routines, interests and needs, helping them settle gently and feel part of the Kings’ community.

Our Nursery spaces are designed to be warm, safe and age-appropriate, giving children the freedom to explore, move, create and play.
Indoor and outdoor learning opportunities support physical development, imaginative play, sensory exploration and early collaboration. As part of the wider campus, children begin to feel connected to the school community from their earliest years

We recognise that parents are a child’s first and most important educators. Our Nursery team works closely with families to support each child’s development, share progress and ensure a consistent, caring experience between home and school.

A Natural Pathway into Foundation Stage
Nursery at KSNAS provides children with a strong and happy foundation for the next stage of school. As children grow in confidence, independence and readiness, they are supported through a smooth transition into Foundation Stage within the familiar warmth and care of the Kings’ environment.
